Online Attendance Policy

At Sumou Educational Center for Health Training, we believe that distance learning has become one of the most important modern methods of education. We are committed to ensuring that it is conducted in the most effective way to provide a healthy educational environment for trainees on the electronic platform.

This page outlines the Online Attendance Policy for the courses offered on the platform, with the following terms:

  • Virtual attendance is equivalent to in-person attendance.

  • Trainees must attend no less than 75% of the total training hours for the course they are enrolled in.

  • The virtual classroom supervisor is responsible for recording trainees’ login and attendance.

  • An attendance report is sent to the electronic platform administration for verification.

In addition, Somou Educational Center for Health Training is committed to providing a minimum of 25% synchronous attendance hours when offering asynchronous or blended electronic training for programs that exceed one month in duration.

Please note that the role of the electronic platform at Somo Educational Center for Health Training is limited to offering developmental courses only. No asynchronous programs longer than one month are offered, and no assessments or exams are conducted through the electronic platform, as the courses provided do not include final examinations.
